A 51-year-old man presented with a lower abdominal mass and dull, aching pain for 6 months. The onset of the pain was insidious. On examination a mass arising from the pelvis was palpable in the suprapubic region and on digital rectal examination. Further investigation included ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging. Fig. 1 is a representative coronal view MR image of the abdomen.
